Asiatic Quarterly Review
(1886-1890, London & 1913, Woking)
The Asiatic Quarterly Review was a quarterly periodical edited by Demetrius Boulger and published from London (by varying publishers) between January 1886 and October 1890 (Vol. 1 to Vol. 10). It was succeeded by the → Imperial and Asiatic Quarterly Review and Oriental and Colonial Record (1891-1912). In 1913, the name reverted to Asiatic Quarterly Review. The new series of the Asiatic Quarterly Review was edited by W. MacCarthy Mann and Gilbert Lyne, and published by the Oriental Institute in Woking, England. Only two volumes of the new series were published. In 1914, the new series of the Asiatic Quarterly Review was renamed → Asiatic Review (1914-1952).
The Ideas of India database covers Vol. 1 to Vol. 10 (1886-1890) and Vol. 1 to Vol. 2 (1913) of the new series of the Asiatic Quarterly Review.
