South Indian Research was a monthly journal published by the South Indian Research Office in Madras from the year 1918. It was edited by T. Rajagopala Rao.

The Ideas of India database covers the following volumes of South Indian Research:

  • Vol. 1, 1918-1919
  • Vol. 2, 1919-1920
  • Vol. 3, 1920-1921 (Nos. 1-5)
  • Vol. 5, 1923-1924 (Nos. 1-2)

Vol. 1 carried the subtitle “A Monthly Journal of Literary, Scientific and Other Researches”. This was changed to “A Monthly Journal Devoted to All Kinds of Research” from Vol. 2 onwards.
